January 2021 Update About HAA5

The Commission's drinking water is currently in compliance with regulations related to haloacetic acids (or HAA5). The Commission tests for HAA5 quarterly. The next sampling round will be in March 2021.

The latest sample results are from December 2020. This means there are no violations of drinking water standards at this time. This follows seven quarters of non-compliance due to elevated HAA5 (see the archive).

Current information about HAA5 can be found here. For the latest on the upgrades to the West Parish Filters Drinking Water Treatment Plant to permanently resolve issues with HAA5, click here.
