The Commission is pleased to provide a mobile water station for a number of community events such as Springfield Museums Earth Day Festival, Spirit of Springfield Pancake Breakfast, Star Spangled Springfield, and the Springfield Jazz and Roots Festival.
The water station taps into a nearby hydrant to supply clean drinking water, direct from Cobble Mountain Reservoir, to the event. Event participants are able to keep cool and stay hydrated by filling up a cup or reusable water bottle with water from the station. Commission staff man the station and are also available to answer questions and provide educational information about the Commission’s drinking water and water and sewer services.
